Synopsis: | Graham who is Jewish and gay meets Horace an Afro-American at High School. They become friends. Later they both take up teaching and Horace marries. When his marriage fails he meets Graham again and they fall in love. Horace campaigns for Civil Rights but wants their relationship kept hidden. He is beaten to death by a group of white yobs and Graham learns of the strides Horace had been making in reconciling both sides of his life. | |||||

Synopsis: | Henry, a Afro-American has spent part of his life passing as white. He is a journalist and is interviewing Adam a gay man passing as straight. But there is a hidden agenda- both men were at college together. When Henry could no longer stand the deception of passing for white he goes to his professor for advice - he is told to be himself. Later the professor is beaten to death by a group of white yobs. Henry is so angry that he attacks the first white person he meets. It is Adam and since that time Adam believed it was a gay bashing. When Henry tells him what had happened Adam tells him that the professor was not attacked because he was black but because he was gay and the leader of the college gay group. | |||||
