Synopsis:

A deft and funny tale about a woman writer whose male publisher decides to test the truth of her fiction: they discover that the last chapter of her book, about a platonic relationship between a man and a woman, needs to be re-written. The play takes a devil-may-care attitude to two rather dull marriages, as the "rewrite" team fends off increasingly demanding phone calls from their respective spouses, to find solace in each other
