Synopsis: | Vienna 1881. A young Sigmund Freud wants to be a playwright. He frequents a cafe where theatrical people go. He catches the eye of Horst Kritsky. Horst is too shy to approach Freud and asks a friend, Gilbert Bruckholdt, to try and introduce them. Freud is not interested until Gilbert says that his friend - the Countess Diamanthe LaBerge, a former leading actress is interested in reading his play. The Countess meanwhile is trying to seduce Sir Rudolph not knowing that he was Horst's boyfriend. | |||||
