Tracy Wells has had an avid interest in theater since her childhood when she attended many plays and musicals with her family in her hometown of Detroit, MI. Tracy later turned to acting during her teenage years but pursued a degree in the medical field, graduating from Wayne State University with a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2003. When her son was born in 2007, Tracy began practicing Occupational Therapy part time and began to explore her interest in playwriting. In the last year since Tracy began writing, she has had six plays purchased and published by PLAYS magazine including The Golden Goose, Arthur and the Mighty Sword, Pygmalion, Echo and Narcissus, A Hanukkah Family Recipe, and Stirring up Trouble.

Synopsis:

A humorous adaptation of the Brothers Grimm's fairy tale. This is the story of Foolish Freddy, who, though ridiculed by his family, wants nothing more than to help chop the much needed wood for the long winter. On his travels he meets an old man who, thankful for Freddy's kindness, bestows upon him a goose made of golden feathers which will bring Freddy luck.
