Synopsis: | Explores the intriguing relationship between the Indian philosophy of Karma and a trio of evil acts throughout the Twentieth Century. In three storylines we meet the Jewish Rachel in 1940s Berlin, struggling to defy her schoolmate-turned-Gestapo member Gustav, the Indian Catholic novice Agnes failing to fight off the advances of a Vatican priest, and finally the thuggish racist Kevin and his latest target in nineties London. But do they connect in more ways than meet the eye? An energetic merging of cultures, histories, poetic writing and physical theatre.

Synopsis: | God Sports is the latest play by Gopi Warrier on the dilemmas of the 21st century in the idea of romantic love and the belief in the infallibility of science and of the influence of mystical philosophies in the West. The play begins in an ancient university in England with a young and beautiful English professor complaining to an older colleague, a philosophically inclined British Astrophysicist about the relentless romantic pursuit of her by an Indian Professor. There are discussions about medicine, romantic poetry and a police harassment case before the play ends in Geneva by the CERN Tunnel searching for the so called God Spot. It focusses on issues including the misuse of science and the wild elements of feminine liberation.
