Synopsis: | Set in a Grotto on the outskirts of a town during the present day recession, three ladies, Queenie, Helen and Frances are waiting for a lift, but the only thing that was on time that day, was the post, and a postcard. There was a time when someone going to Lourdes was a momentous occasion, and if you got a present of a statue or a medal you were delighted, and if you got a bottle of Lourdes water it was as good as going yourself& but what good, if any comes from a postcard.. Well it might get the buses running again for a start. A comedy about birth, death and the Virgin Mary. What are the legacies we create for all to see and the ones that go on quietly, this is the story of their legacies, this is the story of the Pearldivers. | |||||
