Trained as an actress at the Webber Douglas winning a silver medal and scholarship to BBC Rep. Was Gwen in Mrs Dales Diary. Worked as an actress until 1969, started aba daba company and Pindar productions, producing shows at the Pindar of Wakefield, The Water Rats, Underneath the Arches, The Canal Cafe, the Kings Head and many other venues in London's West End and the provinces. Also tours and seasons in Denmark , Sweden , Germany and France , All over British Columbia , Seattle , Portland , San Francisco and many other venues on the pacific coast. Wrote much material for revue style productions. Author with Robin Hunter of the Illustrated Victorian Songbook published by Michael Joseph . Also with Robin Hunter wrote pantomimes, revues, books and lyrics for musicals with music by David Wykes, Antony Feldman Jeff Clarke and Edward Elgar and with David Kelsey, comedy versions of Casablanca and Gone with the Wind (eighteen productions between 1982 and 1997). Reviewer and Interviewer for Plays and Players national theatre magazine. Currently reviewing for the Ham and High. Has a BA hons lit degree from the Open University, and is now studying Psychology.
