I'm a native of Arizona who finds his subject matter close to home. Most of my plays are about historical events in my home state, but I try to tell the bigger story within the historical events. Human nature here is no different than anywhere else in the world. I've written plays about one of the great statesman of 20th century American politics, a 1960's television show, and a 1940's POW escape. The only thing they have in common is that they take place in Arizona. I'm an actor, a director and I teach 11th and 12th grade drama in my home town of Tempe.

Synopsis: | In 1964 a children's TV program called, The Wallace & Ladmo Show is wildly popular in the small town of Phoenix, Arizona. As a joke, the show's producer Wallace, creates a mock rock band for the kid's show. The made up band, Hub Kapp and The Wheels, become a huge success. They become a real rock band when Capitol Records signs them to a deal. This backstage story of kid's television show and a one-hit-wonder band is best described as My Favorite Year meets That Thing You Do. This is based on real events and a real kid's TV show that I wrote for in the 80's. | |||||
