Jeff Talbott graduated with honors from Yale School of Drama. His writing has been informed by his work as a NYC-based actor, both on- and off-Broadway, and in regional theatres across the country. His play THE SUBMISSION was the inaugural recipient of the Laurents/Hatcher Award and was produced by MCC Theater in the 2011-12 season. The play was a semi-finalist for the 2010 O'Neill Playwrights Conference (under the title FESTIVAL PLAY) and was in the final round of consideration for the 2010 New Play Summit at the Denver Center.
