Peter Snoad's plays have received more than 50 productions and staged readings in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. He has been honored with two national new play awards (the Stanley Drama Award and the Arthur W. Stone Playwriting Award) and a playwriting fellowship from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Peter's most recent full-length plays include Orbiting Mars, a wacky satirical romp about militarism and celebrity culture; Identity Crisis, a farce about race and identity; and Raising David Walker, a contemporary drama inspired by the life and work of the black abolitionist, David Walker. A resident of Boston, Massachusetts, Peter is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and the Screen Actors Guild.
