Synopsis: | The play traces the lead character's journey from respectability to degradation and, not usually, but in this play, back to respectability. It will give the audience a vicarious glimpse of the wickedness of demon rum, the debilitation of addiction, and the hope for recovery, all of which led to the enactment of Prohibition.
