Hi,
Would just like to make a correction to the play that Frank Carney Did not write. It is called "THE RIGHTEOUS ARE BOLD".It was originally written by Jack Quinlan in Monaghan Ireland in the late forties early fifties . Jack is my Grand father He died in 1969. Frank took it without Jack, s permission and went to Broadway where it was a great success, when frank was asked to write another he could not and Certainly not of the same caliber. The reason my Grand father did not pursue frank was because he knew frank could not write another and that Frank would have to live with the knowledge of that lie for the rest of his life.
As for my grand Father to him it was for the pure joy of writing that he wrote it and not the monetary gain. Jack was a local Customs agent in monaghan with a degree in English and French litture and local historian.
