Synopsis:

An American professor and his family in Bethlehem inspire the spirit of Christmas in an Arab house boy. Faced with the necessity of obeying orders to lead his tribe into conflict, he refuses. His repudiation of the idea of savage warfare, and acceptance of the idea of brotherhood, stand revealed in the last scene.
