Ann was born in 1965, took a degree in English and Social & Political Science at Cambridge University, graduating 1986. Ann went on to study screenwriting at the National Film & Television School, Beaconsfield. Ann worked for a time at the BFI, writing film reviews. She won a scholarship to study screenwriting in California at, I think, the University of Southern California. The scholarship was named after a celebrated screenwriter (whose name I¹ve forgotten).Ann and her play are mentioned on the following sites: http://www.steamingaudio.myzen.co.uk/rdc/. http://www.susan.croft.btinternet.co.uk/Supplements/Blackplays.htm
