Born in New York City on April 29, 1923. Degree in Drama, U. of Miami; Graduate work in theater at Columbia and Adelphi. Early work in Miami; University of Miami; Radio Station WKAT & Miami Daily News. Later, in N.Y., she was a script writer and interviewer for NBC and the Voice of America. During a hiatus, she entered politics and became a Democratic State Com-mittee-woman. She studied acting with Stella Adler, et al and playwriting with George Tabori and Mario Fratti. She is a member of the Drama-tists Guild, Equity, AFTRA & SAG. Is currently working with a New York group in creating per-formance pieces in the context of myth, ritual and altered states of awareness. Founder of the WOW Theatre Workshop of the Women's Inter-art Center. Recipient: Drama Scholarship, U. of Miami; A. M. Drummond Award; five plays chosen as SWAP plays for the Southwest Theatre Con-ference:
