Synopsis: | There are secrets in the dark and tangled forest - that's why Pamina's father won't let her play there. But Pamina is stubborn and desperate for adventure. One day she slips out of the house, following her only friend Popinjay, a curious and colourful little bird. She finds that her father was right. Hidden in the forest is an angry dragon Pamina can escape from its clutches only with the help of a beautiful, mysterious character The Night Queen herself... Taking the music, characters and themes from Mozart's The Magic Flute this play weaves an exciting and enchanting story of adventure. The Night Queen is in turns funny and scary, silly and serious, thrilling and challenging. Using puppets, music, operatic elements and Hoopla's characteristic theatricality, The Night Queen will thrill and delight both young and old. | |||||
