This is a swim demonstration of the facts that I find and the stories that scatter the channel between this country and France. Little bits of information and tips for preparation that I have begun to collect in this (very slow) process of readying myself for the swim. The beginning of the story.

Synopsis: | In 2003, I bought a postcard in a shop in Totnes. Sent from Lincoln to London on July 15th, 1910 it is addressed to a Miss L Gibbs. The message on the back read: "Be Careful Tomorrow. A.C". Part detective noir, part lecture, part biography, this is the story of my investigation into the message on a postcard and my obsession with the life of the woman that received it. What happens when I start tracing a history that isn't my own? And why did Miss Gibbs have to be careful tomorrow?
