Jane trained at Drama Studio, London in 1986/87 after eight years as head of drama at Weymouth College. She has produced and presented on both commercial and BBC Radio Jane toured nationally as the young Jessie Matthews (Evergreen), played: Tess with Wessex Actors Company, was Mrs Boyle in The Northcott Repertory's Whose Life is it Anyway? Lady Macbeth at London's Latchmere , and won the title role in the world première of Lorna Doone, The Musical at Taunton's Brewhouse Theatre. Jane has toured in TIE and appeared regularly in panto. She has filmed with Ken Russell, acted with Dorothy Tutin, cracked jokes with Ted Rogers, played doctors and nurses withMichael Tudor Barnes, married Floella Benjamin (as Aladdin!), and walked through those doors' with Matthew Kelly on Stars in Their Eyes. With roles in Return of the Psammead and Rockliffes Follies Jane is no stranger to TV. 1999 saw her touring in Love Letters, adapted by Michael.Barry from T.Hardy's On the Western Circuit.As Artistic Director of the world premiere Princes Trust/Johnny Kelham homeless project Please! The Rock Opera, Jane and her young cast, took Glastonbury 2000 by storm. Autumn 2001, with Damien Thomas and David Conville, she toured a double bill by David (founder of Regents Park Open Air Theatre & The New Shakespeare Company). Jane founded As One Productions in 2002.and has given £3000 to Joseph Weld & Trimar Hospices, Breakthrough and The Royal British Legion through touring. She has felt priveleged with her work with In the Mood and a String of Pearls, As One's 60th anniversary tributes to D Day and VE Day; Jane is passionate about living history.
