Jonathan Mayer is from the Orlando, Florida area and is currently attending college at Harvard University. As an author of several one-act plays, short films, and full-length screenplays, he started writing at 14 and continues to do so. In high school, he performed in and directed multiple plays as a member of the International Thespian Society. He won the 2006 VSA Arts Playwright Discovery Award for an alternative version of his play Mistakes-R-Us, which world premiered at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
