Synopsis:

explores the roots of intolerance. It was developed improvisationally by acting students in Texas and synthesized into a stage drama by the Irish playwright working with actors in Dublin (where the play premiered in January 2005). It tells the story of an oppressed people who, because of their differences from the prevailing temperament of the so-called hosts, are forced to continuously uproot and flee into exile. The central story follows the adventures of two sisters who ar fathered by different men and promised in marriage to sworn rivals (one of whom belongs to the dominant tribe of the land). The journeys of the Jews from Egypt, Palestinians, Choctaw Indians, and Irish Catholics are echoed in the script.
