Jay Luxembourg is a graduate from Cambridge and of the MA in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia. She is a member of The Factory and is working with the company on its forthcoming production of THE ODYSSEY. Jay's plays include DEMOLITION (AFTER BORIS VIAN) (The Factory at the Victoria & Albert Museum), BACKDOOR SNAP (Theatre503), L'HOMASSE (Hampstead Theatre Start Night), ELLIS ISLAND (Theatre 503) and INSANE JANE (Soho Theatre Studio/Pleasance Courtyard, Edinburgh). Jay's short film PHIL'S JOB won the Time Out DVious Shorts Award and was screened at Cannes, Melbourne & Raindance festivals. Her past awards include the International Student Playscript competition. Current projects include a new play called HADRIAN'S WALL; an adaptation of the Julia Bell novel DIRTY WORK for Rania Jumaily; and a screenplay called THE CHRISTOPHER COMPLEX.
