Synopsis: | Thick-headed, ruggedly handsome, charming and married, Seth, lives in two worlds. Madly obsessed with his past he begins to see that marriage is often more work than warm passionate feelings. He decides to escape his mundane marriage and take up with his past love, Kate. When he encounters Kate, he sees that she is everything he remembers and more. Somehow reuniting with Kate has made all the bad things in their past relationship disappear. The problem is there is really nothing wrong with his current wife, Katherine. She is beautiful, kind and helpful to the point of exhaustion. Kate, however, can't seem to get over the ugly truth of her and Seth's not so perfect past and won't let him ruin his marriage for something that is not, and has not, ever been perfect. In the end Seth, Kate and Katherine all have to face nostalgia for what "was" or reality of what "is." Which do they want to live in? | |||||
