Anna Lippman Davies wrote an unpublished novel, numerous poems and three or four plays in the 1960's. Two were produced and entered in the Dominion Drama festival. The Babies became her "hit" and productions continued to pop up years after her death

Synopsis: | Two persons: one blue, one pink, inhabit similarly coloured highchairs. They trash out their understandings of birth, the life force, gender indoctrination, and ultimately death without ever leaving their perches.
