| Synopsis: | Two act play, each act having two scenes taking place on different nights of the week. It is the late 1940s and the setting is the dining/sitting room in a theatrical lodgings. Cast: the landlady (50s/60s); two of the lodgers (1M 1F, early 40s) are in a touring production of The Barretts of Wimpole Street, and the other four lodgers, (1M comedian 50s/60s, 1M singer early 20s, and 2F dancers one late 20s/early 30s, the other late teens) are appearing in a revue in another theatre in the town. The remaining character, a small part, is a young male policeman. It turns out that this particular week has a rather different ending from what might be expected! | |||||
