Karaoke Stories is a live cinematic opus of loss, sorrow, and unrequited love played out in a rundown L.A. karaoke bar ("a rehab center for the emotionally retarded"). As Jeff, an under-qualified producer with is own "ideas," reads from Eric's screenplay, the characters come to life on the karaoke stage, fulfilling a Tour De Force vision of "meaningful/thought-provoking" sex, violence, and political incorrectness. It's The Love Boatmeets Pulp Fiction meets Porky's,with an all Asian-American cast and one token white guy.
