Synopsis: | Wallace Thurman wrote his novel Infants of the Spring in 1932 about the Harlem Renaissance. He peopled the novel with stand-ins for himself and his contemporaries among them Langston Hughes and Zora Neale Hurston. Glenda Starr Kelley directed her adaptation with a cast of eleven. This includes Michael Shannon who now is big stuff, but at the time was a bit player. | |||||
