Ken Jones is an award winning playwright and screenwriter. Ken received degrees in playwriting from the University of Florida, University of Virginia and Harvard University. Jones participated in the Warner Bros. Television Writer's Workshop and went on to serve as the Head Writer for LightPoint Entertainment at the Disney-MGM Studios in Florida. His play, A RED EAGLE FALLING, was produced in New York City's WRITER'S THEATRE in 1986, and in 1989, TIME magazine chose Ken Jones' play, DARKSIDE for its Critics' Choice. Jones has had over 350 productions of his plays. Other plays include: THE MIDDLE OF YESTERDAY, THY BROTHER'S KEEPER, BURGERTOWN, THE SPACE BETWEEN MONDAY AND TUESDAY, VICTIMS OF THE ICE AGE, THE GREAT EASTER EGG HUNT, THE ROCK COLLECTION and THE BIG ONE. Many of his play have been published, and his works are listed in several anthologies and monologue books. His screenplays include TRIANGLES AND TRIBULATIONS, OVER THE MOON, and DREAM THIEF. He has won a Telly Award, a Communicator's Award, the Post-Corbett award for Literary Artist, the DuPont Fellowship, the Delauney Playwriting Award, the Denver Prima Facie Award, the Kentucky Playwright's Award, and he received an Emmy nomination in 1994. He lives in Burlington, Kentucky, USA, with his wife, Christine, and their 3 children. He is the Chairman of the Department of Theatre and Dance at Northern Kentucky University.
