Lynn-Steven Johanson holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and works at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. He is a past winner of the Nantucket Short Play Festival, the East Valley Children's Theatre Playwriting Contest, and the Snowdance Comedy Festival. He is also a recipient of an AriZoni Theatre Award of Excellence for Best Original Play. He is a Network Playwright with Chicago Dramatists, and holds memberships with the Dramatists Guild, and the Mid-America Theatre Conference.
