Synopsis: | traces the history of rock from the SOs to the 80s. The setting is the late 60s Golden Age of Rock with flashbacks into the light hearted SOs and visions into the disillusioned future. The main character is a white-suited, red-vested, mustached Mephistopheles-style drug pusher, pimp, and devil who witnesses apathetically the progress and ultimate demise of rock. A brutal ending wherein a glitter rock star is murdered on a chrome "cross" by three male and two female punk rockers comments on the simultaneous seriousness and tongue-in-cheek humor of rock theater. | |||||
