| Esker Mike lives with his common law wife, Agiluk - he is a muskrat trapper. They have difficulty keeping things together as Mike is reckless with money. Mike defrauds the government but has the money taken from him by Albert. Albert has had sexual relations in the past with Agiluk and he goes to her but she does not want to have anything to do with him. He tells how he got money from Mike that Mike had stolen. She relents and they go to bed. Afterwards she goes mad with remorse and murders her two youngest children | |||||
