Synopsis: | Scottish writer and performer Kris Haddow has lived with insomnia his entire adult life. In this solo performance, first commissioned for the Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival 2011, he leads a journey through the world of insomnia via characters and sketches drawn from his personal experiences. There's Gordon, a man who really loves coffee. Then there's Brenda, a woman who hasn't slept since 'Oor Davy'. And thrown in with some others, there's Kris himself. What's his obsession with 2 hours, 9 minutes and 37 seconds? What is the secret to a good night's sleep? And what's really going on in the nation's bedrooms at night? | |||||
