Dave Duggan is a dramatist and novelist. He wrote and directed seven plays for Sole Purpose Productions, published by Guildhall Press as Plays in a Peace Process. Of these AH 6905 was adapted for production in Afghanistan in 2008. Other stage plays include Spike Dreams, a Derry Playhouse production, Bubbles in the Hot-Tub for Blue Eagle Productions and, in Irish, Gruagairi - for Aisling Ghear, for which he was awarded a Stewart Parker Trust/BBC Award. Dave has written radio drama for RTe and BBC Radio 4, as well as a number of original screenplays, including for the Oscar/Academy Award nominated Dance Lexie Dance. His radio play Everyone's Got A Mountain To Climb for RTe was Ireland's 2009 submission to the international radio drama series World Play. Guildhall Press published his novel, The Greening of Larry Mahon. He wrote Cú De for The Abbey Theatre, Dublin. (2009).
