| Synopsis: | Archie an artist and Hugh a writer share a flat. Archie has fallen in love with his model. The landlady lets out one of the other rooms to Helen the daughter of a rich industrialist who wants to be a writer. To make money to marry Archie gives up art and goes to work for the industrialist. Hugh tells Helen that she will never make a go of it as a writer and she says that for the next six months she will only live on what she earns. Hugh secretly churns out profitable potboilers and he uses the money from these to secretly pay Helen for the work she does - she is told her works are published abroad. She secretly gets Hugh's literary book published using her father's money | |||||
