Synopsis: | 1935. Eleanor and Timmy are about to leave on vacation to Florida. They receive a box of avocados from their gardener in Florida but it does not contain as many as they usually get. Flashback to Eleanor working in a lawyers office trying to marry one of the partners. She reads about her father's death in the newspaper and refuses to go to the funeral. Flashback to when Eleanor was 13 - her father tells her he is going to marry their housekeeper - she is furious and leaves home. Back to 1935 Eleanor and Timmy's daughter refuses to go to Florida with them - she is 6. They leave her with the nanny and go.
