Jim Dalglish is a playwright who lives, writes and works on Cape Cod. He has had the good fortune to see many of his plays performed by theaters in a wide range of locations: Massachusetts, New York, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska and Alaska. These works have included shorts, one acts, and full-length plays. Several have won awards. The Black Eye was awarded Best Short Play at the 2001 Edward Albee Last Frontier Theater Festival. Daughter of the Regiment was given the Panelistīs Choice Award at the same festival a year later. His one-act play, Edge, was a finalist in the Tennessee Williams National One Act Play Contest. The Shaving Lesson was named Best Short Play at the Tidewater Play Contest. He is a member of Chuck Maryan's Play Lab at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. He is also a "life member" of the Provincetown Playwright's Lab. He is currently employed as the Managing Director of Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater (WHAT.)
