Chris Corbett has written episodes of the television shows Stingers, Blue Heelers, The Secret Life of Us and All Saints. He has also worked as a script editor on Blue Heelers and as script and story editor on Stingers. Prior to working in television he served as Dramaturg at the Melbourne Writers Theatre and the Melbourne Theatre Company. He has written a number of plays, including Elsinore, Happiness and Dedication. He directed with the Five Dollar Theatre Company and performed with the groups Primary Source and Strange Fruit in major festivals across Australia, New Zealand and Europe. He has taught Professional Screenwriting at RMIT and produced and written the web series Tinytown. He recently wrote and produced the short film Fences that won third prize and the Best Screenplay Award at Tropfest 2009. His upcoming short film, Afraid will be released in mid 2009.
