Biography of Billy Butler

A native Bostonian who has honed his craft in the backwoods of New England. He was born into a musical family but at an early age he decided he would study theatre. Once he even ran away with the circus as Performance Director for Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey 131st Edition. In 2007 he was awarded the Excellence in American Theatre award by the New England Theatre Council. Recently, he went back to his first love. Music. He started writing and playing music again a few years ago and hasn't stop since. In 2007 he wrote the music and lyrics for the new smash hit rock musical, Gay Bride of Frankenstein which had its first workshop production in Portsmouth, NH October 2008 and another in NYC a year later. He also plays piano for the band Tim McCoy and the Papercuts. Music is the best.
