Jennifer Bogush's play, TRAFFIC JAM, which is published by Original Works publishing, premiered at the New York International Fringe Festival, won 3rd place in the Playwright's Theatre, Plays for the 21st Century Contest (Cash Prize), and won 8th place in The Writer's Digest Contest out of 17,000 submissions (Cash Prize). The Woolly Mammoth Theater Company was "impressed by [Traffic Jam's] humor and the vividness of [the] characters." Jack Marshall, the Artistic Director of the Playwright's Theatre adds, "Jennifer Bogush [is] an extraordinarily talented playwright. Traffic Jam was beautifully conceived and executed. The dialog grabs and holds your attention." Playwrights Horizons found another play, DISHES OF LIFE, which received Honorable Mention in the Writer's Digest Competition out of 17,000 submissions, "wildly imaginative and richly conceived," and Ms. Hughes of the McCarter Theatre "enjoyed the fantastical world and characters." LOW GRADE CHOCOLATE, a 2012 O'Neill semi-finalist play, is the first in a trilogy of plays, entitled THE RUTHERFOD CYCLE. Jennifer is currently at work on the second and third plays of the trilogy, VERGE and A MODERN EMILY.
