Genre: | Comedy | |||||
| Parts: | Male | 3 | Female | 4 | ||

Notes: | A 3-act comedy requiring 2 scene changes. Music for the current production is by Jamie Sims at www.cumara-music.co.uk, entitled "March of the tin soldiers". This fits very well and suits the mood of the play.
Synopsis: | The Hotels along Primrose Avenue in the picturesque seaside resort of Shellbourne Sands are a closed shop when it comes to anyone new onto the "street". When "commoner" Gemma Moorcroft buys into one of the "less frequented" establishments down the avenue, it does not run well with snob, Lucia Van Holsen - the chair-lady and founder of the avenue's hotel association. During a pre-season warm-up meeting of the association, it emerges that a film company is looking to use one of the hotels as the base and set for a big budget mini-series. Of course, Lucia is absolutely determined that her "Marquis Hotel" shall be selected, come what may. And woe betides anyone fool enough to try and obstruct her.
