Marjorie Bicknell is a graduate of Mundelein College (BA in Theatre and English Literature) and Northwestern University (MA in Speech). She served as managing director of Pary Production Company, Chicago, Illinois from 1980 to 1983. She studied playwrighting at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, PA and is a winner of the Pennsylvania Playwrights Award, sponsored by York Little Theatre in York, PA. She is the founder of The Playwrights Alliance of Pennsylvania, a non-profit organization devoted to promoting the work of new and emerging playwrights.
