Martin Baynton has an international reputation as a writer and illustrator of childrens books with titles published by major English and American houses including Walker Books, Penguin, Scholastic and Greenwillow. He has over thirty published titles. Martin also works for the stage, radio, TV and film as a producer, director, screenwriter and script editor. He is the director of Limelight Studios, a TV project development company which has just completed making their first pre-school animation series 'Fifty The Tractor' based on Martins best selling book series. Currently Martin is working with Weta Productions in New Zealand. He is the Executive Producer of 'Jane And The Dragon,' an animated show that has been developed from his books, and is the executive producer for 'the Wotwots' a new preschool animation series he has devised for Weta Productions. Martin was born in London in 1953 and educated in England.
