Alexander Baack started his career as a New York stage actor. After graduating from the American Musical & Dramatic Academy, Baack made his professional debut starring in the national tour of Neil Simon's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Lost in Yonkers. From 1997 to 2005 he worked with the acclaimed Barrow Group, where he met his wife, Hillary Baack, whom he also directed in her acclaimed one-woman show, Birth Story. During this time, he also wrote the plays, The Losers, . . .And You Are? and Lost in the Woods, which was commissioned and produced by the Toy Box Theatre Co. In 2007, Baack formed Force Productions Entertainment to write, produce and direct both theatre and feature films for adventurous and mainstream audiences. His self-financed, feature debut, Untitled: A Love Story was optioned to be remade by producer Elizabeth Allen (Aquamarine, Ramona) and he is currently developing several new film projects, including Belittled, Visibly Moved and Portraits of Genie.
