James Armstrong grew up in northwest Florida, where he first started writing plays. He studied English and theater at Drew University and holds an MFA in dramatic writing from Carnegie Mellon University. Mr. Armstrong taught English at Somerville Charter School in Somerville, MA. He lives in New York City and is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
