| Synopsis: | IDLE WORSHIP, based on the artist, Gronk, gives a window into the life of an Art Star, and his struggles to remain true, in the face of his dealers schemes; compounding things is a toxic tryst with a closeted cop. Redemption enters his life however in the form of a homeless waif, a pure soul, who bears an uncanny resemblance to one of his creations. Beyond Gronk's personal angst, L.A. is ready to explode as people await the verdict of the Rodney King trial. As fate would have it, on the night of an evening soiree, the Riots erupt, and looting and gunshots consume the streets. As the city burns, Gronk's guests while away the night with fornication, coke, and idle chatter. Riots or Uprising be damned, the party goes on. | |||||
