Angel might be considered a split personality - on one hand a dancer and choreographer and on the other a journalist for "National Petroleum News". In 1990 he founded the Sex Police a group of dancers and actors who tour schools and colleges with an AIDS awareness show. In 2003 he was inducted into the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame.
